Our plant is located in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains of Western Pennsylvania in the community of Brookville,PA.

Located just off of Interstate 80, a central United States location that enables us to easily transport to many markets.

Our History

Humphrey Charcoal was originally founded in 1902 as a clay, brick and tile manufacturer. All of our kilns were converted over to make charcoal in 1941 due to the demand and abundance of hardwoods in Pennsylvania. In 1947, Humphrey Industries developed one of the first briquetting plants in existence and briquettes quickly became the "preferred" Charcoal of Choice! We continue to maintain our historic commitment to providing quality products to our customers.
